I have been a long time practitioner mindfulness of breathing meditation. This was the technique that was taught to me by a martial arts instructor to help me effectively deal with anxiety prior to competitions. My practice is typically 15-30 min a day but I've gone through long stretches where I did not meditate at all. Life will usually remind when it is time to start meditating and mindfulness training again. I have experienced what Tom refers to as point consciousness. Not at the level where i can achieve this state "on demand" like Tom. Was wondering what meditation techniques and routines do others on this Forum use.
